BTS recently held their first livestream as a full group in nearly three years, marking a major moment for fans around the world. Now that all seven members — RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — have completed their military service, they reunited on screen to greet the BTS ARMY together. Fans flooded social media with excitement, celebrating what felt like the end of a long wait. During the livestream, the group officially announced that a new album is on the way, confirming previous reports that they are planning a comeback in Spring 2026.
As the members talked about their upcoming plans, V casually dropped a surprise. He asked if they had already told fans about their intention to start working on music in the United States. The group seemed slightly caught off guard by the comment, but RM quickly confirmed it. He explained that while Jin is busy traveling for his solo tour, the group will be moving between different countries — including the U.S. — to work on their new music.
In South Korea, spring runs from March to May, so fans can expect the album to arrive sometime within that window — possibly in March 2026, matching earlier reports. This new release will be the group’s first full album in nearly five years. Their last studio album, BE, came out in November 2020, followed by Proof in 2022 — a special anthology album released in celebration of their 10-year debut anniversary, which featured both old hits and a few new songs.
During the livestream, Jimin seemed a little self-conscious about his appearance, especially his shorter haircut from military service. But his fellow members reassured him with compliments, helping him relax. The familiar chemistry among them was clear as they laughed, teased one another, and reflected on how odd it felt to be back in front of the camera after so long. Jin and J-Hope, in particular, couldn’t stop laughing at how awkward things felt at first — a sign that, despite the time apart, their bond hasn’t changed a bit.
