David Beckham recently celebrated his big 50th birthday with a huge, glamorous party full of famous friends like Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and Gordon Ramsay. His wife Victoria shared lots of pictures from the event, showing everyone having a great time. But one thing people noticed right away—David’s son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz were nowhere to be seen.
It turns out Brooklyn and Nicola actually wanted to be there to celebrate with David, but things didn’t go as smoothly as hoped. According to sources, they flew all the way to London and even tried to arrange a private get-together with David before the main party. Unfortunately, their request was turned down, and they were told that if they wanted to see David, they’d have to come to the big official party. In the end, they decided not to attend at all.
The family tension seems to stem from a disagreement between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo. The issue is connected to Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Apparently, Brooklyn used to date Kim, and even though they broke up, some bad feelings still linger. Brooklyn has been suspicious about Kim’s intentions and whether she’s using the family’s fame for her own benefit. However, David and Victoria don’t have any problems with Kim, which makes things even more complicated.
Even though Brooklyn and Nicola skipped the party, insiders say they still sent David their best wishes privately. The couple prefers to keep family matters low-key and away from the public eye, rather than making a big scene.
So, while the party looked perfect on the outside, it’s clear some family issues are still playing out behind the scenes. Hopefully, they can work things out quietly and get back to celebrating together soon.
