Britney Spears is fighting one of the most “toxic” battles of her life.
The American singer’s third husband, Sam Asghari, launched a series of explosive claims against Spears, which included of accusing her of cheating and beating him up, after filing for divorce on Thursday.
The 29-year-old gym trainer accused the singer of giving him a black eye while he was asleep. He also alleged that Spears had asked a staffer to film her naked and also had an affair with one of the men who works at the house.
As reported by TMZ, on Thursday, there may have been a video of Spears and the staffer in a “compromising position.”
Post dropping some of the most controversial claims, Asghari issued a somewhat softer statement saying, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.” Further ahead wishing her “the beset always” he added that they will hold onto the love and respect they have for each for other.
Spears has not commented publicly on her divorce but has hired Hollywood powerhouse divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her.
A source has informed that the singer did not “cheat” and is rather “hurt” amid the devastating breakup, as per Entertainment Tonight.
