Bridgerton fans have a reason to rejoice as season 4 of the beloved period drama officially wraps filming and moves into post-production. Netflix recently shared a playful behind-the-scenes video, showing the cast shedding their corsets and Regency-era attire for modern-day comfort, hinting that another romantic saga is just around the corner. While viewers will have to wait until 2026 to witness the next love story unfold, the buzz around the new season is already beginning to build.
Season 4 will center on the tale of Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed once again by Luke Thompson, and his romance with Sophie, played by newcomer Yerin Ha. Their storyline draws from Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman, and though Netflix has kept most plot details tightly under wraps, an earlier teaser hinted at a magical masked ball where the two characters feel an instant, fateful connection. The chemistry between Benedict and Sophie is set to capture hearts, continuing the show’s signature blend of romance, drama, and opulence.
Joining Thompson and Ha are several returning favorites, including Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Luke Newton, Nicola Coughlan, and Adjoa Andoh, whose presence ensures continuity and richness in the world of the ton. Given the massive fan response to the split release of season 3, it’s possible that season 4 might follow a similar two- or even three-part release format to keep anticipation high and discussions buzzing between drops.
As the post-production process begins, fans can look forward to more updates in the months ahead, including trailers, exclusive images, and perhaps a clearer release window. With fresh romance, a Cinderella-esque twist, and the classic Bridgerton elegance, season 4 promises to deliver yet another enchanting chapter in the saga.
