Boeing has won two U.S. defence contracts worth around $160 million for aircraft sustainment and production.
The first contract, $35.3 million, is for C-17 Globemaster III sustainment at Boeing’s Long Beach, California facility. This modification covers material improvements for fiscal years 2025 and 2026, raising the total contract value to $7.92 billion. Work will take place in California, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Washington, and other locations worldwide. The project is set to finish by September 29, 2027. The contract includes Foreign Military Sales to countries like Australia, Canada, India, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, and the UK, as well as support for NATO’s Airlift Management Program. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base manages the contract.
The second contract, $125.6 million, is for CH-47 Lot Four aircraft at Boeing’s Ridley Park, Pennsylvania facility. This raises the total contract value to $148.1 million. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order. The contract is expected to complete by October 1, 2030, and is managed by the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
