Nick Carter’s family is navigating through another tragic loss of a loved one.
The Backstreet Boys member’s sister Bobbie Jean B.J. Carter has died at 41, more than a year after their brother Aaron Carter passed away, according to multiple news outlet. The cause of her death is not yet revealed.
Bobbie Jean Carter, who lived in Florida, was preceded in death by Aaron Carter, who died last year in November after accidentally drowning in his bathtub post taking medications such as alprazolam (Xanax). Their sister Leslie Carter died of overdose in 2012 at the age of 25, and father Bob Carter passed away at 64 in 2017.
Melanie Martin, mother of Aaron’s son Prince Carter, 2, wrote, “I’m deeply sad today,” on her Instagram Stories.
B.J. starred with Nick and Aaron and most of the members of their family on E! reality show House of Carters in 2006. Post then, she has led a private life and stayed out of limelight until June last year, when she was arrested in Florida for shoplifting and possession of controlled substance.
