Blake Lively was recently seen out in New York City amid the growing legal drama surrounding It Ends With Us and reports of a fallout with longtime friend Taylor Swift. Despite rumors swirling about tension between them, Lively appeared composed and focused on family, enjoying a night out with her sisters, Robyn and Lori Lively.
The trio was spotted laughing together at the International Center of Photography during the opening of a photo exhibition by artists Anna Palma and Guy Aroch, close friends of the family. This public outing came just days after news broke that Lively’s decade-long friendship with Swift had hit a rough patch.
Sources say Swift, who was subpoenaed as a witness in Lively’s ongoing lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, is now stepping back to distance herself from the legal battle. According to insiders, Taylor “wants no part in this drama,” and their friendship is currently on pause.
The lawsuit, filed by Lively in December 2024, accuses Baldoni of workplace misconduct and sexual harassment. Baldoni denied the allegations and responded with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging defamation and extortion.
The situation escalated when Baldoni’s legal team subpoenaed Swift, despite her having no connection to the film’s production. Swift’s team quickly stated she only saw the movie after its release and criticized the subpoena as a tactic to garner public attention. Lively’s representatives also condemned Baldoni’s legal strategy, calling it an attack on women’s rights and victim protection laws in California.
