BLACKPINK is officially nine years old. The group debuted on August 8, 2016, and fans around the world have been with them ever since. To celebrate, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa shared new photos and memories on social media. They made sure to thank their fans, BLINKs, saying the milestone wouldn’t have been possible without them.
Jisoo kept it simple with a few photos and the number nine with some emojis. She shared a selfie from the JUMP music video and moments from their ongoing DEADLINE World Tour, including shots with Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.
Jennie focused on celebrating the team, calling them “beautiful ladies” and sharing photos from the JUMP video set. She wrote, “9 years together with these beautiful ladies.”
Rosé got emotional, posting a heartfelt note for her bandmates and fans. She wrote about loving them so much that it “hurts” and added, “Nine. Tonight we are nineee. We set the world on fireee. We can burn brighterrrrr than the suuuuunnnn. Happy 9th year anniversary girls and BLINKs. I love you all so much – it hurts a bit.”
Lisa shared a collage from a recent outing with the team and thanked fans for being part of their journey. She wrote, “Thank you BLINKs for being a part of our world! Happy 9th anniversary. Love you (Jen, Chu, Li, Chaeng).”
BLACKPINK is in the middle of their world tour, currently performing in Europe. They’ve played in Paris and Milan and are heading to Barcelona next. The tour will continue until January 2026, with eight more cities left to visit.
