BLACKPINK is all set to release new music soon, but fans will have to wait a little longer than they expected. Reports say the group’s next studio album will now come out at the end of the year instead of next month. YG Entertainment has confirmed that nothing has been finalized yet but promised to share the schedule once it’s ready.
According to a report from Xports News on October 16, the members are currently working hard on a new full-length album, aiming for a December release. Earlier this year, the plan was to drop the album in November, but now it seems the release has been pushed to mid-December. This means fans can expect new BLACKPINK music around the holiday season.
YG Entertainment told Maeil Kyungjae that no final decision has been made about the exact comeback date. Still, fans are excited, as this will be BLACKPINK’s first group album in over three years since BORN PINK came out in 2022. The girls also released a single called JUMP earlier this year, which received a warm response from millions of fans worldwide.
The group—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—are currently busy preparing for both their music and the ongoing DEADLINE World Tour. They’ll resume performances in Kaohsiung in a few days after a short break to focus on their album. Two more shows have recently been added to the tour, which will now end on January 26, 2026. The next stops include several Asian cities, and fans are hopeful that even more international shows will be announced soon.
