Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are still struggling to sell their Beverly Hills mansion. The ex-couple has just relisted the property for $52 million. That’s $16 million less than what they first asked.
The pair bought the massive estate in May 2023. They paid $60.8 million in cash, just one year after tying the knot. The home is huge, 38,000 square feet, and packed with extras like a sports bar, full gym, basketball and pickleball courts, a boxing ring, a guest house, and even a caretaker’s house.
But after their split in May 2024, the mansion sat empty. In July, they tried to sell it for $68 million, but no buyers showed up. They briefly pulled it off the market, then dropped the price by $8 million earlier this year. Now, it’s back again at $52 million.
According to TMZ, Ben and J.Lo even took out a $20 million mortgage when they purchased the home. They first tried selling it privately before going public, but the estate has been hard to move.
As for where they’re living now, J.Lo bought a smaller 10,000-square-foot home in Hidden Hills back in February. She’s still staying in the Beverly Hills house for now while her new place gets renovated. Ben moved out in July 2024, a month before Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce. He purchased a $20.5 million home in Brentwood.
Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024, on the couple’s second wedding anniversary. Ben has three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13. J.Lo has 17-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
