Battlefield 6 is celebrating Thanksgiving and Black Friday with a free trial across all consoles. EA has called BF6 the “best-selling shooter of the year,” and the free trial is a way for new players to jump in and see what all the hype is about.
The free trial runs from Tuesday, November 25, to Wednesday, December 2. While EA hasn’t shared exact start times, it will likely begin at 8 AM PT (11 AM ET / 4 PM BST). Players will have a full week to experience the game before the Black Friday discount kicks in.
To play the free trial on PC, PS5, or Xbox, download Battlefield REDSEC, the free-to-play battle royale companion to BF6. Once the trial begins, the client will update with all available maps and modes.
The trial includes three maps: Blackwell Fields, Eastwood, and Cairo. Players can enjoy four confirmed game modes: Conquest, Breakthrough, Team Deathmatch, and Sabotage. A fifth mode is still to be announced.
