Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has made his relationship with Argentinian rapper Nicki Nicole official. The 18-year-old forward shared a photo with Nicole on Instagram, coinciding with her 25th birthday. In the post, the pair sit close together in front of her birthday cake, and Yamal captioned it with a cake and heart emoji, confirming their romance to his 37.6 million followers.
The couple had been linked since Nicole attended Yamal’s 18th birthday party in July. Spanish gossip expert Javi Hoyos reported that while there was flirting at the party, Yamal and Nicole were first seen kissing weeks later at a beach club on July 24, leaving together in the early hours. Yamal’s Instagram post now publicly confirms their relationship.
Yamal’s birthday celebrations were mired in controversy. Held on July 13 at a private estate, the party allegedly included the exploitation of dwarves and controversial demands for female attendees, including specific physical requirements and offers of up to USD 21,800 for participation. The General Director of Disability in Spain, Jesus Martin, called for a governmental investigation following images of five men with achondroplasia present at the event.
Earlier this year, Yamal was also linked to 30-year-old OnlyFans model Fati Vazquez. The two were seen on holiday together, and social media posts showing similar lipstick marks on Yamal and Nicole fueled speculation of a love triangle.
Despite off-field controversies, Yamal continues to perform strongly for Barcelona. His relationship with Nicki Nicole now marks a public and official chapter in his personal life.
