A Baldur’s Gate 3 player has pulled off an impressive mashup, recreating Harley Quinn as The Dark Urge. Using a combination of mods and the game’s character creator, the player made a version of Harley that looks like it stepped right out of the Arkham games. The results, shared on Reddit by asmyladysuffolksaith, have been widely praised for their accuracy and attention to detail.
The design features Harley’s signature blonde pigtails, colorful wardrobe, and even her bat. Cinematic shots show her dancing over chaos she created, swinging her weapon, and fully embracing The Dark Urge’s violent tendencies. To get this look, the creator used five popular Baldur’s Gate 3 mods: FacesUnlocked, FearTaylor’s Camp Clothes, Tav’s Hair Salon, Dastardly Accoutrements Rogue Gear, and the Faerun Fashionistas Mega Pose Pack. FacesUnlocked allowed them to use Mystra’s face as a base, the clothing mods expanded Harley’s outfit options, Hair Salon added her pigtails, and the Pose Pack gave cinematic flair to screenshots.
For weapons, the player used the Club of Hill Giant Strength to mimic Harley’s bat, while another suggestion in the community was the Rat Bat for extra accuracy. The build combines Fighter levels with Great Old One Warlock, allowing Harley to deal damage while spreading fear and laughter to enemies—a perfect nod to her chaotic personality. Critical hits with the Clown Hammer induce hideous laughter, and Warlock abilities add Frightened status to surrounding foes.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has become a playground for creative custom characters, with previous examples including pop star Taylor Swift, Jinx from League of Legends, the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and even Gordon Ramsay. Some of these rely on mods, like Harley Quinn, while others are built with the base game’s tools.
Larian Studios has hinted that their next game, Divinity, will feature an even more advanced character creator, with more options, colors, and control. If that’s the case, fans will have an even bigger canvas to bring iconic characters, celebrities, and wild creations to life. With creativity like this, the possibilities are endless.
