Avengers: Doomsday is one of Marvel’s most anticipated movies, and fans are already excited for its release. The film is being shot in London, and the Russo Brothers recently shared the first teaser at the Destination D23 event. Along with the teaser, they gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the filming.
In a video message, the directors hinted that the movie will be huge. The original Avengers will join forces with the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and the Thunderbolts to take on Dr. Doom, making it one of the biggest crossovers in the MCU so far.
The teaser shows quick clips of some of the heroes. Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, says, “We could pull together the greatest team ever.” Sam Wilson, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, adds, “If we can’t see the good in each other, we’ve already lost the fight.” Shuri steps in with, “Now is our time to strike.” Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man confidently says, “Will I be there when the Avengers need me? Absolutely.”
Other heroes, including Yelena from the Thunderbolts and Mr. Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four, also appear. The movie will also see Robert Downey Jr. return as the villain, Dr. Victor von Doom. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters in December 2026, promising a massive showdown for the MCU.
