The much-anticipated Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Part 2 anime, set to debut on November 4, is generating even more excitement as it’s confirmed to be an extended 85-minute feature. This thrilling continuation will air on the NHK General channel at 24:00 JST, which effectively translates to midnight on November 5, or 11:00 a.m. EDT on November 4. Japanese audiences can also enjoy it on various platforms including Lemino, d Anime Store, Netflix, TELASA, U-NEXT, Amazon Prime, DMM TV, and ABEMA services.
In the earlier installment, fans were treated to a special one-hour episode on March 3. Titled “Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1,” it was streamed on Crunchyroll, and viewers also had the option to watch it on Hulu. Toonami presented the first part on September 9. A highlight of the return is the new opening theme song “Under the Tree,” performed by SIM. The series’ title, “Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Zenpen,” designates this as the first half, while Part 4, titled “Shingeki no Kyojin The Final Season Kanketsu-hen Kōhen,” marks the second.
The Attack on Titan The Final Season premiered on NHK in December 2020, captivating audiences with 16 intense episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll provided English subtitles for fans around the world. The Toonami block on Adult Swim began airing the series in January 2021, with Funimation introducing the English dub concurrently.
Part 2 of Attack on Titan The Final Season kicked off with episode 76 on the NHK General channel in January 2022, comprising an additional 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation simultaneously streamed the second part as it aired in Japan.
The anime’s journey began with its inaugural season in April 2013, followed by the second season in April 2017. The first portion of the third season premiered in July 2018, with the latter half airing in April 2019.
Hajime Isayama set the stage for this epic tale by launching the original Attack on Titan manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine back in 2009. The series reached its conclusion in April 2021, with the 34th and final volume making its debut in June 2021. Fans eagerly devoured the manga in English, both digitally and in print, with Kodansha USA Publishing releasing the 34th volume in October 2021.
