Ashley St. Clair has confirmed that her son, Romulus, born in September 2024, is fathered by Elon Musk. The announcement puts an end to months of speculation about the identity of the child’s father. A Labcorp report revealed a 99.9999% probability of Musk’s paternity, and this was further substantiated by court documents and test results shared in a Wall Street Journal report.

St. Clair, a 26-year-old influencer, had previously kept the information private to protect her son’s safety and privacy. However, increased media attention eventually led her to confirm the news in February 2025 via X (formerly Twitter). Musk, who now has 14 children with four different women, did not initially confirm the news but did acknowledge his financial support, denying claims of financial retaliation after St. Clair was seen selling her Tesla Model S. She had said the sale was due to a 60 percent cut in child support from Musk, but he responded, claiming that he had already provided her with $2.5 million and sends $500,000 per year.

Despite the ongoing public interest, St. Clair emphasized her desire to raise Romulus in a “normal and safe environment,” urging the media to respect their privacy. The confirmation of Musk’s paternity means that Romulus officially joins Musk’s growing family, with his unique name adding to the high-profile nature of the situation.
