In a refreshing break from the usual celebrity drama, A$AP Rocky’s grandmother, Cathy, is melting hearts with her sweet words about Rihanna and her grandson’s journey. In a recent Vogue cover story featuring Rocky ahead of his Met Gala co-chair debut, Grandma Cathy offered an endearing perspective on her famous family — and fans can’t get enough.
She opened up about her pride in Rocky, saying she always knew he was destined for big things. But what brings her the most joy? Seeing him “settled down” and happy with Rihanna. “She’s a down-to-earth person,” Cathy said fondly. “I’m glad that he settled down, and I’m happy with who he settled down with.”
Rocky and Rihanna, who started sparking romance rumors back in 2020, are now parents to two sons — RZA and Riot Rose. In the interview, Rocky gushed about their boys: RZA is already into books, while Riot, the younger one, is full of playful energy and mischief. “He likes to take stuff from his brother so his brother can chase him,” Rocky said with a smile.
