Season 3 Episode 1 is set to premiere on October 14, 2024, at 11:00 pm JST on AT-X, with additional airings on Tokyo MX and BS11 later the same night. What to Expect in Episode 1

Recap of Arifureta Season 2
In Season 2, Hajime’s party faced several major challenges. After Kaori joined them following her confession to Hajime, the group ventured into the Gruen Desert. They encountered Bize, a noble affected by mana overload, and journeyed to Ankaji, a city struggling with a poisoned water supply.
After solving Ankaji’s crisis, they entered the dangerous Gruen Volcano labyrinth, where they faced Freid, a general of the Demon Army. Though they managed to survive the erupting volcano and escape, they regrouped in Erisen, where Myu was reunited with her mother.
As the season progressed, the group uncovered the malicious schemes of the god Ehit and the corrupt leadership in the kingdom. Meanwhile, back in the kingdom, Hajime’s teacher, Aiko, was kidnapped, and a large-scale invasion by Freid’s forces ensued. Hajime’s group rescued Aiko and defeated Freid’s army, though they also faced betrayal from their classmate Eri, who sided with the demons.
Despite the challenges and losses, Hajime and his allies emerged victorious, though Kaori sustained severe injuries, leading her to transfer her soul into Noint’s body, enhancing her fighting abilities. Season 2 ended with the group splitting up—one part joining Hajime on his quest while the other escorted Liliana to her meeting with the emperor.
