Sydney Sweeney has fans buzzing with speculation about her relationship after she quietly removed a photo of herself kissing fiancé Jonathan Davino from Instagram. The image, originally posted as part of a New Year’s Eve 2023 carousel, featured Davino leaning down to kiss Sweeney during a celebration with friends.
Celebrity gossip outlet DeuxMoi was the first to report the photo’s disappearance, fueling rumors that things might not be going well between the couple.
Sweeney and Davino have been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2022, but recent reports suggest they may be spending time apart. Sources claim the Euphoria star has been living separately at the Beverly Hills Hotel, although she hasn’t addressed the rumors publicly.
Adding to the speculation, the couple reportedly postponed their wedding, which was initially scheduled for May 2024. Back in February, TMZ reported that the delay was due to scheduling conflicts, but neither Sweeney nor Davino have confirmed whether they are still moving forward with their plans.
Despite the swirling rumors, Sweeney has always been tight-lipped about her personal life. In a December 2023 interview with Glamour UK, she acknowledged how rare it is to have a long-term relationship in Hollywood.
“I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age.”
She also described Davino as her best friend, but emphasized the importance of keeping parts of her life private.

While fans speculate about her relationship status, Sweeney has been keeping busy with luxurious travels. She recently shared stunning photos from an African safari, where she posed in stylish outfits against backdrops of elephants, zebras, and giraffes.

Before her safari adventure, she made a quick trip to Paris for Miu Miu’s Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show. Sharing a glimpse of her Parisian getaway, she wrote:

Whether or not Sweeney and Davino have officially split, the Madame Web actress seems focused on enjoying life, traveling, and attending high-profile fashion events.
