Apple’s highly anticipated artificial intelligence features will be introduced in October, according to a Bloomberg report. This release will follow the initial rollout of iPhone and iPad software updates. The delay is attributed to concerns over stability and the need for broader testing.

Originally planned for the fall alongside iOS updates, the AI features will now debut in a beta version. They are expected to be a significant driver for sales of the new iPhone models, particularly the iPhone 15 Pro and newer versions. Features such as ChatGPT integration and enhancements to Siri will be included in the update later in the year.

Developers will receive early access to Apple Intelligence through the iOS 18.1 beta version starting this week. Announced on June 10, Apple Intelligence will be available on all Macs and iPads running the M1 chip or newer. The new AI capabilities include writing proofreading, tone adjustments, custom emoji creation, and phone call summarization and transcription.
