The friend added that others involved in the crash were not as lucky, making it a traumatic experience for Joshua.
A family member said the news of the accident has shocked the family. They expressed hope for Joshua’s speedy recovery and offered prayers for the people who died. Joshua was traveling from Lagos to his family home and was expected to arrive in time for the New Year.
Local police commissioner Lanre Ogunlowo confirmed the crash and said an investigation has been launched. The victim, Joshua, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
