Amidst a protracted legal feud over their esteemed French vineyard, Chateau Miraval, Angelina Jolie purportedly steered her children away from encounters with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, during their visits. The couple’s six children – Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (17), Zahara Jolie-Pitt (19), Vivienne Jolie-Pitt (15), Maddox Jolie-Pitt (22), Pax Jolie-Pitt (20), and Knox Jolie-Pitt (15) – were reportedly influenced by Jolie to actively avoid their father.
These assertions surfaced through a statement by Tony Webb, the former proprietor of a security firm who had been associated with Jolie from 2000 to 2020. Webb disclosed details of a request made by one of Jolie’s aides regarding two former employees of his security company, who were enlisted to testify in Jolie’s child custody dispute against Pitt. Michael Vieira, one of Jolie’s aides, sought Webb’s assistance in dissuading the contractors from testifying. Despite Webb’s explanation of their right to testify, Vieira warned of potential legal repercussions from Jolie. Ross Foster, one of the contractors, expressed his willingness to testify, particularly regarding alleged instructions from Jolie directing the children to distance themselves from Pitt during his visits.
Paul Murphy, representing Jolie, countered Pitt’s focus on non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) as an attempt to manipulate public perception and veil his actions. Murphy emphasized Jolie’s pursuit of separation and the well-being of all family members, advocating for a harmonious resolution.
Previously, Jolie’s legal team insinuated Pitt’s apprehension over sealed documents in their custody battle being exposed to the public via NDAs. This speculation coincides with an alleged incident aboard a plane in 2016, where Pitt purportedly exhibited physical aggression towards their children, prompting Jolie to file for divorce. Despite an FBI investigation, no charges were brought against Pitt. The high-profile ex-couple continues to grapple with the custody dispute over their six children since their divorce in 2019.
