The third season of And Just Like That, the follow-up to Sex and the City, is now airing one new episode every week. Fans get to hang out again with the iconic trio: Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte, along with newer characters people love like Seema, Lisa, and Anthony.

In the latest episode, we might’ve just seen the start of a new romance for Carrie. A new character named Adam, who’s a landscaper (someone who works with gardens), shows up to help Carrie with her garden makeover, and there might be some chemistry between them.

This is happening while Carrie is still trying to keep her long-distance relationship with Aidan alive. But now that Adam is in the picture… could there be trouble ahead?

The show’s writer, Michael Patrick King, recently shared in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that the focus of this season is all about relationships, the ones we already have, the new ones that come along, and even the “maybe” kind. He said that no matter how old you are or where you are in life, new people can still change you and help you grow.

He also mentioned that they wanted the season to have that summer vibe, fun, flirty, and full of possibilities. Since some characters are single now, the writers wanted to bring back a bit of the original Sex and the City spark, dating, romance, and yes, a little sex in the city.

Right now, two episodes are already out. Wondering when episode three is dropping? Keep reading for the full release schedule of And Just Like That season 3.

What will happen in And Just Like That season 3?

In Season 3 of And Just Like That (the sequel to Sex and the City), a lot is going on in Carrie’s world. She’s working on writing a book, which is helping her stay busy while her boyfriend Aidan is back in Virginia, taking care of his son, Wyatt.

After a tough moment last season, when Aidan’s son had an emotional meltdown during a visit, Aidan decided to put his relationship with Carrie on pause so he could focus on being there for his kid.

Writer Michael Patrick King explained to Entertainment Weekly that the Carrie-Aidan storyline is meant to feel real and emotional because both characters are trying to do the right thing. He said, “Some fans are probably over it and want Carrie to be single again. But others will understand that loving someone means accepting their family too.”

That said, he also promised not to drag things out too long or make fans suffer. So hopefully, we’ll get some clarity on where Carrie and Aidan stand soon. In fact, the trailer for Season 3 shows one of Carrie’s new neighbours taking a liking to her, could that turn into something more?

Meanwhile, everyone else has their own dramas going on too:

  • Miranda is now working at Human Rights Watch and is trying to figure out the queer dating scene after her breakup with Che.

  • Charlotte is back in the professional world and focusing on her career in the art world again.

  • Lisa is putting all her energy into making her documentary.

  • And Seema? She’s single again after breaking up with Ravi, whose busy career was taking over their relationship. She’s ready to date again — but honestly, she’s not that excited about it.
