All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is one of the most highly anticipated K-dramas on worldwide OTT platforms that delivers gripping zombie apocalypse thrills through the adolescent survivors of Hyosan High’s deadly outbreak. Fans of the original K-drama are buzzing about the continuation of surviving the horrific events of the first season with increased survival stakes, evolving horrific elements, emotional reunions, and new threats as the undead continue to expand globally.
All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Release Updates
Production for ‘season 2’ wrapped up on or around February 19th, 2026, with some sources stating it was done by that day. Production lasted approximately seven months, starting in July 2025. The show is currently in post-production, and is going through the usual processes of editing, adding visual effects (which will be important for a show with a large number of zombies), sound design, etc…
As there has been no announcement made yet by Netflix regarding an official release date, the show does not currently appear in their 2026 k-drama line-up, and most media sources predict the show will premiere in early 2027. While previous reports were indicating that a possible December 2026 premiere might happen, this seems increasingly unrealistic considering both the size of the post-production timeline, as well as the lack of an official announcement by Netflix about it appearing in any part of their 2026 programming. A very small number of people still think that it may get released late in 2026; however, the vast majority expect the show to be ready for air sometime around the beginning of 2027.
Netflix announced that it would continue to produce the series during Geeked Week 2022, but due to delays in production, it will not be able to reach its original target dates of late 2025 through early 2026 for the release window.

All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Plot Details
The full plot line of Season Two has yet to be revealed due to concerns about spoiling Season One. What we do know is that season two will follow those who survived the zombie apocalypse at Hyosan High and continue the story from there. However, the writers are expanding their world beyond just Hyosan High and will be following how the apocalypse is continuing to evolve beyond just the school and its immediate surroundings. There will still be themes of survival, friendship, morality, and the ongoing battle against zombies that are becoming more dangerous every day. On-Jo, in particular, will attempt to lead a “normal” life at college, while trying to survive once again.
With an increased level of stakes, new characters, and new ways to explore how the events of the first season are impacting the characters, the level of drama will be heightened in season two.
Season Two will be available exclusively on Netflix for people to watch and stream globally, like season one.
Official announcements from Netflix are expected soon, so keep an eye out for those—you never know what will happen with the production after filming is finished! If you want to watch season one again, it could be a great way to get ready for the chaos of season two!
