Arriving in a stunning asymmetrical black suit-gown, White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood openly addressed swirling rumors about a feud with her co-star Walton Goggins during a candid interview at the 2025 Met Gala.
When asked by Entertainment Weekly if she might cameo on Saturday Night Live alongside Goggins—who is set to make his hosting debut—Wood enthusiastically replied, “Yeah, why not? Why not? Yeah, it would be fun.”
The Sex Education actress’s warm response contrasts sharply with the social media drama that sparked the rumors: both actors unfollowed each other on Instagram after White Lotus season 2 finale dropped on April 6. Fans quickly speculated about tension between the pair.
Wood, however, put those rumors to rest, telling the outlet, “I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever.” Adding fuel to the reconciliation theory, both actors re-followed each other just hours before the Met Gala.
Goggins, who also attended the gala, declined to discuss the alleged feud when an interviewer pressed him, stating firmly, “I’m not gonna have that conversation,” with his publicists quickly redirecting the discussion.
The pair weren’t the only White Lotus stars at the event — Patrick Schwarzenegger and Lisa from Blackpink were also spotted on the Met Gala blue carpet.
Interestingly, Wood recently made headlines for her reaction to an SNL sketch by comedian Sarah Sherman that parodied her White Lotus character, calling the sketch “mean and unfunny” on social media.
