Rockstar’s Bully and L.A. Noire are often overlooked compared to Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. Bully, in particular, has kept a devoted fan base hoping for a sequel. Sadly, there are no confirmed plans for Bully 2 after earlier versions were canceled. Fans may have to settle for something else. Steam has a new game that might scratch that same itch.
Agefield High brings early 2000s High School life to Steam
Simulation games are everywhere on Steam, but few capture teen life in the early 2000s like Bully did. Agefield High: Rock the School aims to do just that. Players step into the shoes of Sam, a new student at Agefield High. With graduation approaching, he worries that his final year will be boring. Luckily, friends Kale and Axel have a plan to make it unforgettable. The game is a mix of school adventures, pranks, and teen comedy, evoking the wild, raunchy vibe of early 2000s films like American Pie and Not Another Teen Movie.
The game uses an open-world design similar to Bully. Players can explore the school, town center, neighborhoods, and rural areas. There are 32 main missions and 15 side missions. Players choose how Sam spends his last days, either attending classes or skipping them to cause chaos.
Features that Bully fans will appreciate
Agefield High: Rock the School has plenty of features aimed at fans of high school simulations. There is a full school system with classes like English, Math, German, Geography, and Music. Shops let players customize Sam with clothes, hairstyles, and even tattoos. The story is expected to last 8-10 hours and includes two different endings. The mix of missions, exploration, and character freedom makes it feel like a proper teen life RPG.
Refugium Games, the developer, is behind titles like Greyhill Incident and Vacant’s Mine. Agefield High: Rock the School is their third project. It is currently scheduled for PC release in Q2 2026, with console versions planned but without a confirmed date.
While fans of Bully may still hope for a sequel from Rockstar, Agefield High: Rock the School is shaping up to be the closest alternative. It combines nostalgia, open-world gameplay, and the charm of teen rebellion into a modern indie experience. For anyone who loved the schoolyard antics of the original game, this new title is worth keeping an eye on.
