Ahead of its debut on Disney+, the new MCU series Agatha All Along has been officially rated TV-14, matching the rating of its predecessor, WandaVision. This rating is consistent with most MCU content, which typically falls within the PG-13 range.
While WandaVision originally began with a TV-PG rating, it transitioned to TV-14 after its first two episodes due to language, violence, superhero action, and brief sexual innuendos. This adjustment came as the series delved deeper into more mature themes and moved beyond its initial sitcom-inspired format.
Agatha All Along is set to continue in a similar vein, featuring the same kind of supernatural elements and visual effects that fans enjoyed in WandaVision. The series will likely include magical and special effects scenes and might hint at darker themes, as suggested by the trailers, which even show a glimpse of what appears to be Wanda Maximoff’s deceased body.
Despite these darker elements, it’s expected that Agatha All Along will not push the boundaries of TV-14 to the level of brutality seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Instead, viewers can anticipate exciting supernatural imagery and superhero action without excessive gore or hardcore violence.
The series is set to premiere with two episodes on Wednesday, September 18.
