A$AP Rocky confirmed the news during his appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on May 7, 2025. When host Seth Meyers asked whether the couple’s third baby would follow the “R” naming tradition—after sons RZA and Riot—the rapper answered plainly, “For sure.”
Though he didn’t reveal the full name, Rocky expressed joy that the pregnancy was now public. “It feels amazing. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up,” he said on the Met Gala red carpet while speaking to the Associated Press. “And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”
Rihanna also commented on her pregnancy in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying she’s feeling surprisingly well. “I’m good, shockingly feeling OK, and not too overwhelmed at the moment,” she said. “At first, I was kind of like tired, but I’m excited.”
