I Love LA is a new American comedy series created by Rachel Sennott. She also stars in it. The show came out on November 2, 2025. The story follows Maia, played by Rachel Sennott. Maia is a young woman with big dreams. She wants to become a talent agent. The episode also introduces Maia’s strained relationship with Tallulah, played by Odessa A’zion. Tallulah has just arrived in Los Angeles because their friend Alani arranged it.
When the two women meet again, the mood is awkward. Maia pretends she got promoted even though she never asked her boss about it. Tallulah also hides her own struggles. Both of them keep lying until the truth finally spills out at Maia’s birthday party. They admit they have been pretending to be more successful than they really are. After the emotional moment, they decide Tallulah will stay in Los Angeles and live with Maia. She will become Maia’s client, and the two will try to rebuild their connection.

The journey of the show began much earlier. HBO ordered the pilot in March 2024. Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, True Whitaker and Miles Robbins were announced as the main cast in June 2024. Leighton Meester and Quenlin Blackwell joined the show in July 2024 for guest roles. HBO gave the final approval in September 2025. Josh Hutcherson replaced Miles Robbins in May 2025 because the story and characters were changed. The show is produced by HBO Entertainment with Rachel Sennott, Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Lorene Scafaria and Max Silvestri as executive producers.
