Fishing is finally part of Steal a Brainrot, and it’s a fun way to catch brainrots in the game. It works like other fishing mini-games in Roblox, such as Fisch or Fish It. You throw the rod, wait, and reel it in. But before you can start, you need to know when the fishing event happens and what rods you can use.
The fishing event occurs regularly, every hour. You can check if it’s live by looking at the bottom right corner of your screen for a fishing rod icon. During the event, the lobby even submerges underwater. This is your chance to catch brainrots.
You start with a basic Starter Rod, which is free. If you want better luck and a higher chance of catching rare brainrots, you can buy better rods during the fishing event. Just talk to the fisherman when the event starts to open the rod menu. Here are the rods you can get: the Starter Rod with 1.5x luck, the Frozen Rod with 2x luck for $2.5M, the Fiery Rod with 3x luck for $5M, and the Radioactive Rod with 4x luck for $10M. Some rods also require you to have rebirthed a certain number of times.
Once you have a rod, equip it from your hotbar. Hold the left mouse button and release it when the meter reaches the top for the best luck, or release early if you want. After a brainrot bites, click repeatedly to reel it in. A progress bar will show how close you are to catching it. If the bar drops to zero, the brainrot will escape.
