After the success of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, fantasy anime have become more popular than ever. One of the most anticipated adaptations after Frieren is Witch Hat Atelier by Shirahama Kamome. The anime was originally scheduled for 2025 but was postponed to improve the debut season’s quality. Fans were disappointed by the delay, but the wait won’t be too long.

BUG Films has announced that Witch Hat Atelier will now premiere in April 2026. A new trailer was also shared, giving fans a first look at the enchanting world of the anime.

The main cast has been revealed as well. Natsuki Hanae, known for roles like Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul and Tanjiro in Demon Slayer, will voice Qifrey. Rena Motomura, who played Marie in Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex, will voice Coco.

Witch Hat Atelier will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll, and more details about the staff and additional cast will be revealed in the coming months. Fans can look forward to the magical debut in early 2026.
