In the last update, we saw that the Bat was stronger than the Deer, leaving the Deer injured with bandages on its antlers and legs. Now, the Bat is roaming the wild, and it’s not easy to face. But don’t worry—this guide will help you survive its attacks.
Where to Find the Bat
The Bat lives in the new Cave added to 99 Nights in the Forest. You can access the cave from Day 1 of your round. Use the map to locate it. Inside the cave, you’ll find the Bat in the very first chamber. After attacking you, it will fly away and reappear later deeper in the cave.
How to Deal with the Bat
The Bat, like other monster entities such as the Deer, Owl, and Ram, cannot be defeated. There’s no health bar, so you can’t kill it. The goal is to avoid its attacks. Bring bandages, food, and weapons just in case you need them.
The Bat has very poor eyesight but extremely strong hearing. When it screams, it sends out powerful sound waves that can damage you if you’re not careful. Avoiding these attacks is simple if you know the signs. Before it screams, the Bat raises its head and flaps its wings. You’ll see a red wave coming toward you—move away or take cover behind a wall or object. If it hits you, your screen will go blurry, making the environment hard to see.
You can also shine your flashlight on the Bat’s face to scare it, just like with other monsters. If you follow these tips, you can avoid all damage and survive every encounter with the Bat.
