Call of Duty Warzone is getting a big update with the launch of Black Ops 7 Season 1. The update adds all of Black Ops 7’s weapons and Operators to Warzone, along with new gameplay features and a brand-new Resurgence map.
When will the Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 update go live?
The update goes live on Thursday, December 4, at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM GMT.
Season 1 brings a new Resurgence map called Haven’s Hollow. It’s set in Liberty Falls, featuring Appalachian-style mountains and Americana design. It’s bigger than Rebirth Island but smaller than Fortune’s Keep, making it perfect for fast-paced Resurgence matches. Key locations include a mansion, research center, coal depot, lumbermill, riverboat, main street, train station, homestead, and pond.
Seven new weapons are joining the game: Maddox RFB, Kogot-7, Sokol 545, Hawker HX, Sturmwolf 45, NX Ravager, and Ballistic Knife. All 28 launch weapons from Black Ops 7 will also be added.
Will Call of Duty Warzone Season 1 have gameplay updates too?
Warzone will see gameplay updates too. Weapon attachments are limited to five, Overkill is applied by default, and movement and perk systems have been adjusted. New equipment like Echo Units, Needle Drones, and Pinpoint Grenades are also coming.
Verdansk will get two new POIs: the Signal Station in the north and an updated Factory east of Superstore.
Two new events are planned: Rally Point, where players complete personal and community missions, and Naughty or Nice, a festive challenge unlocking rewards like the Sokol 545 LMG and weapon blueprints.
The Season 1 Battle Pass offers 1,100 COD Points, 11 Operator Skins, 26 Blueprints and Weapons, and 119 total rewards. Battle Pass tokens can be earned through daily challenges. Free unlocks include the Maddox RFB and Kogot-7 SMG. BlackCell owners get exclusive skins, Blueprints, and extra pages of rewards.
Season 1 promises to refresh Warzone with new maps, weapons, events, and rewards. Fans have plenty to look forward to when the update drops.
