Actor Matthew Perry, who died on Saturday at the age of 54, was laid to rest on Friday at a Los Angeles cemetery in a service attended by relatives and castmates from the hit 1990s television sitcom ‘FRIENDS’, reported multiple media outlets, citing photographs.

Mourners gathered at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills neighbourhood of Los Angeles, which is less than a mile from Warner Bros Studio, where the sitcom was shot. The location was also the final resting place of numerous A-listers including Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson, and Lucille Ball.

Perry, who played the character of awkward Chandler Bing on FRIENDS from 1994 to 2004, was found dead at his residence, generating an outpouring of grief from fans and fellow celebrities.
The surviving five co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox, and David Schumer, issued a joint statement to their fallen castmate describing his death as an “unfathomable loss.”
