The relationship reportedly began after they both attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy, earlier this year. At that time, Sweeney had just ended her engagement and was not seeking anything serious. Braun, the music producer, is said to have pursued her.
Recently, Sweeney had a confrontation with her ex, Jonathan Davino, asking him to stay away. TMZ reported that he drove her home in Los Angeles after a night out, and she allegedly told him, “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”
Over the past few months, Sweeney and Braun have spent time together on dates in California and Los Angeles, even including outings with her parents.
