Zayn Malik has reportedly returned to One Direction’s business circle nearly ten years after leaving the band. New filings with Companies House show the 32-year-old singer as an Active Director of PPM Music Limited, the company the group created during their rise on The X Factor. The update, first reported by The Sun, has sparked excitement among fans hoping for a possible One Direction reunion.

The filings, dated November 3, also list Zayn as a Person with Significant Control, meaning he now has notable influence within the company. He had previously stepped down as a director in 2016, a year after leaving the band in 2015 to focus on his solo career.

Zayn now joins Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan as fellow directors. All four share the company’s registered address at Lee and Thompson LLP, a London law firm known for handling music and media businesses. The firm has also worked on Liam Payne’s solo projects.

A music source told The Sun that Liam Payne’s recent passing has brought the members closer together, even though he had been the biggest supporter of a reunion. PPM Music Limited, named after Princess Park Manor, was originally set up when the band first moved into the gated complex after winning The X Factor.

Although the update is mostly administrative and doesn’t confirm new music or performances, it carries emotional weight for fans and the remaining members. Speculation has grown that the former bandmates, who have stayed in touch after Liam’s death, may be reconnecting professionally.

Recent reports suggest Zayn and Louis Tomlinson might also be involved in a multi-million-pound documentary about their One Direction journey. This, along with Zayn returning to PPM Music Limited, has fueled fan hopes for a potential reunion, though no official announcements have been made yet.
