HYBE has finally arrived in India and fans are over the moon. After years of waiting and guessing, the Korean entertainment powerhouse has now launched in the country. The surprise drop happened on November 3 when new official X and Instagram accounts appeared with a simple message saying Namaste India. This marked the official start of HYBE India and hinted that more exciting things are on the way.
Both accounts had the familiar yellow and black HYBE logo as their display picture. The message was clear and warm. It greeted India in a local style and teased what fans can expect. Within hours the X account started trending and appeared in top news stories. The excitement was huge.
The HYBE India X account followed many of HYBE’s related labels. These included Source Music, YX Labels from Japan, HYBE Latin America, ADOR, KOZ Entertainment, Pledis Entertainment, BELIFT LAB, and BIGHIT MUSIC. It also followed Weverse, the merch account HYBE Merch, and the exhibition brand HYBE Insight.
On Instagram, HYBE India followed only four accounts. These were Weverse, HYBE Merch, HYBE Latin America, and BIGHIT Exhibition, which shares details about BTS exhibitions. This small but specific list made fans even more curious.
India is now HYBE’s fifth international branch after the United States, Japan, China, and Latin America. The office is based in Mumbai. The company sees India as a huge future entertainment market and plans to bring its artist system here. Fans have already been dreaming about what this could mean. Many hope HYBE will create local Indian acts, blend Indian culture with K pop, and bring more attention to Indian talent. Others hope for more concerts, better merch prices, and brand partnerships.
There is also excitement about new job opportunities and greater exposure for HYBE artists in India. Overall the launch marks a big new chapter for HYBE and for Indian fans who have been waiting for this moment.
