The New York Jets will be without their top wide receiver Garrett Wilson for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Wilson is sidelined with a knee injury and will miss his second straight game.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn confirmed that cornerback Sauce Gardner and Wilson are out, while quarterback Tyrod Taylor is questionable but improving.

The Jets’ offense has struggled this season, failing to score a first-half touchdown since Week 1 and not reaching the end zone since Week 6. Losing Wilson again makes their task even harder. Before his injury, Wilson led the AFC with 36 catches for 395 yards and four touchdowns.

With Wilson out, the Jets will rely on veterans Josh Reynolds and Tyler Johnson. Rookie Arian Smith is also expected to see a bigger role, along with tight end Mason Taylor and running back Breece Hall contributing in the passing game.

To have a shot at their first win of the season, New York will need to keep up with Cincinnati’s high-powered offense. Joe Flacco, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins will be looking to exploit a Jets defense that has struggled.

Whoever plays quarterback, Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields, will need to perform at their best for the Jets to compete.
