BIGHIT MUSIC has officially unveiled its next boy group, CORTIS, set to debut on August 18, 2025. Ahead of their debut, the label shared a teaser video on August 10 at midnight KST on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, featuring an error-style visual spelling out “CORTIS” in pink tones, hinting at the group’s aesthetic. The group also launched official social media accounts, including X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, to connect with fans ahead of their debut.
About CORTIS and its members
CORTIS is a five-member group consisting of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. HYBE has described them as a “young creator crew”, emphasizing their self-producing concept. The members will actively participate in music composition, lyric writing, choreography, and video production, reflecting a collaborative approach without fixed positions—similar to their seniors, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT).
Several members already have impressive credits in K-pop production. For instance:
- Martin contributed to songs such as TXT’s “Deja Vu,” “Miracle,” “Beautiful Strangers,” ENHYPEN’s “Outside,” LE SSERAFIM’s “Pierrot,” and ILLIT’s “Magnetic.”
- James has worked on choreography for Deja Vu, Magnetic, ILLIT’s “Cherish (My Love),” and “Tick-Tack.”
Martin and James have collaborated on multiple projects, demonstrating strong teamwork even before their official debut.
As BIGHIT MUSIC’s latest boy group, CORTIS is expected to follow the global success trajectory of BTS and TXT, creating high anticipation among K-pop fans worldwide.
