According to Sina Entertainment on August 11, Huang Zitao confirmed the wedding plans during an appearance on the Chinese variety show Our Love Song. Tao and Xu Yiyang, rumored to have been dating since 2020, made their relationship public in 2023 and officially registered their marriage in December 2024. The couple plans to host around 100 fans at the reception, though details about how fans can participate have not yet been shared. Tao becomes the second EXO member to marry, following Chen.
Rumors about a “secret baby” have been circulating since last year, after Xu Yiyang was spotted shopping for baby items and visiting an OB-GYN clinic in the US. The couple has not commented on the matter, though speculation grew when Tao’s mother was seen with a nanny and an unidentified baby. Fans are hoping for updates, especially as the couple has been more open about their relationship recently.
Huang Zitao debuted with EXO as Tao in 2012 under SM Entertainment but left three years later following a contract dispute, which led to legal battles with the agency.
