Amaya Espinal, the winner of Love Island season 7, opened up about moving on after her split from Bryan Arenales. The two had started dating just a month after leaving the villa, but their relationship ended the day after the reunion episode aired.
Amaya told People Magazine that she and Bryan realized they were on different paths. She shared on social media, “After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys.” She added, “Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty. All love here and I truly wish him the best.”
She admitted that she is still processing the breakup but said she feels hopeful and optimistic about the future. Amaya also expressed gratitude for the support from her fans, saying it feels amazing to know so many people connect with her.
Bryan and Amaya had won the hearts of viewers and ultimately took home the Love Island trophy, making their split all the more talked about.
