British rapper Aitch has found himself at the center of backlash after sharing a highly personal and embarrassing story about an ex-girlfriend on a recent podcast appearance.
The 25-year-old artist, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, appeared on the 90s Baby Show this week, where he recalled a trip to Bali with a former partner. While laughing with hosts, Aitch claimed that during the holiday he had woken up intending to be intimate, only to discover that his girlfriend had accidentally soiled herself in bed due to a bout of so-called “Bali Belly,” a stomach illness commonly linked to food or water contamination.
“She’s s**t all over the place,” Aitch said bluntly, before describing in detail what he claimed happened. He added that he had to leave the room, which had no doors, while she cleaned up. The comments, though played for laughs on the podcast, quickly drew criticism from fans who felt he had unnecessarily humiliated his ex.
Soon after, online speculation linked the story to Australian model and influencer Lola Thompson, whom Aitch dated for 10 months between 2022 and 2023. After fans began tagging her in the viral clips, Thompson took to TikTok to share her side of the story—calling her ex “disrespectful” and accusing him of exaggerating the incident for entertainment value.
“Yes, this happened while I was asleep, but it was just a little bit in my pants,” she explained in a video. “It didn’t go on the bed, it didn’t go on him, it wasn’t everywhere like he said it was.”
She also denied Aitch’s version of events that suggested the couple had tried to be intimate afterward, saying: “I’m not in the mood the next day when I’ve been sick like that. ‘Bali Belly’ makes you feel like you’re dying—I definitely wasn’t thinking about intimacy.”
Thompson also made clear that she wasn’t just some casual fling. “I wasn’t a random girl,” she stressed. “I was this guy’s girlfriend. He was literally hugging me and telling me he loved me at the time.”
Her candid response has earned widespread support online, with fans rallying around her and slamming Aitch for airing such a private matter. “You were literally ill and had an accident. Anyone who’s been sick gets it,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “He should never have said it. That was hella out of order.”
For now, Aitch hasn’t addressed the criticism directly, but many fans believe this episode has shown “a disrespectful side” of the rapper—while Thompson has come out looking stronger for speaking her truth.
