Harry Potter star Jessie Cave has revealed that her OnlyFans content recently prevented her from attending a fan convention tied to the franchise.
Cave, 38, who played Lavender Brown in the films, explained on her Substack that the convention organizers told her she could not participate because “it’s a family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.” She expressed surprise, noting that many actors who have performed sex scenes or appeared nude in films and TV continue to attend such events.
The actress clarified that her OnlyFans account is focused on a hair-related fetish, including ASMR videos and “very sensual stuff,” which she describes as niche rather than sexual. “I’m just playing with my hair,” she said.
Cave, who also hosts the Before We Break Up Again podcast, emphasized that her move to OnlyFans was motivated by financial reasons, aiming to “get out of debt” and invest in her home. She added, “My aim? To empower myself… to put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”
Despite the setback, Cave appeared unbothered about missing future conventions. “I have done conventions for over 15 years and have enough photos and wizard memorabilia,” she said.
