The Minnesota Vikings started the 2025 season without wide receiver Jordan Addison. He was suspended for the first three games, leaving the team’s receiving group short-handed. Without him, the Vikings had to rely on their other players, especially star receiver Justin Jefferson, to carry the offense.
In Week 4, the Vikings are playing in Dublin, Ireland, and Addison is finally back. He was activated to the 53-man roster at the start of the week, making him eligible to play. On Sunday, he was on the field for the Vikings’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Even though Addison is back, he hasn’t been a major part of the early offense. Quarterback Carson Wentz has been focusing on Justin Jefferson, giving him most of the targets in the first part of the game. This means that Addison might not make a big impact immediately.
It’s normal for a player to take some time to get back into the flow after missing a few games. Addison may need to shake off some rust and get used to the timing with the quarterback again. But when he does get going, he has the potential to be a strong WR2 alongside Jefferson. Fantasy football owners may need to be patient, but Addison’s return adds a valuable option for the Vikings’ offense as the season moves forward.
