Pixelverse, the Web3 gaming project that exploded to more than 27 million monthly users through its viral Telegram tap-to-earn game, is taking its next big step. The team has officially launched Pixelverse Arcade on Base and Farcaster, signaling a move from its Telegram-first roots to a broader Web3 community.
The new arcade brings onchain progression, collectibles, and collaborations with meme-native partners. At the center of the update is a unified player profile that carries across all Pixelverse titles. Every in-game action contributes to a seasonal Battle Pass, with achievements, rewards, and items tracked permanently onchain. The goal is to give players lasting progression and actual ownership of their digital assets.
The first game to launch under the Arcade banner is Storychain, a collaborative storytelling experience built on Farcaster. Players contribute short entries to a chain of text, guided by the Pixelverse AI agent that sets the rules. Once a chain finishes, it is minted on Base as an NFT, crediting all contributors. These stories are grouped into themed collections tied to Pixelverse’s meme partners, with leaderboards and PIXFI token rewards driving competition.
“Storychain takes everyday conversation and turns it into both a game and an onchain asset,” said Pixelverse co-founder Kori Leon. “It’s the first step toward a category of games only possible on open networks like Base and Farcaster.”
Pixelverse’s shift reflects the evolution of its player base. What started as casual Telegram games now leans into Web3-native communities. Integrations with meme ecosystems on Base, including Toshi, Ski Mask Dog, Mr. Mingles, and Brett, show how Pixelverse is positioning itself at the intersection of gaming and cultural tokens.
The $PIXFI token, set to launch on Base, will tie gameplay, rewards, and marketplace activity together across the ecosystem. With Farcaster providing the social layer and Base powering collectibles and rewards, Pixelverse is aiming to build a long-lasting Web3 arcade that goes well beyond Telegram clicks.
