Netflix has released the first teaser for the highly anticipated live-action One Piece Season 2, titled Into the Grand Line. The teaser gives fans a first look at the next stage of the Straw Hat crew’s journey and confirms that production for Season 3 is already underway.
Season 2 will cover the beginning of the Grand Line saga, including the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs, while also introducing elements from the Alabasta Saga. The main cast— Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar—will reprise their roles as the Straw Hat Pirates. New characters include Callum Kerr as Smoker, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0 (Crocodile), and Lera Abova as Miss All-Sunday (Nico Robin).
British actress Charithra Chandran joins the series as Miss Wednesday, also known as Vivi, an agent of the mysterious Baroque Works organization. In the teaser, she makes a brief appearance with blue hair tied in a high ponytail during an action scene.
The teaser concludes by announcing Season 3, signaling that the live-action saga will continue. The series follows Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they pursue the legendary treasure One Piece, hidden by the former King of the Pirates, Gold Roger, with Luffy determined to become the next King of the Pirates.
