Netflix is joining hands with South Korea’s top variety entertainer Yoo Jae Suk for a new and unusual reality show. The series, titled Yoo Jae Suk’s Camp, will feature him running his very own guesthouse, where a changing lineup of guests will stay at a summer-camp-style retreat. He will act as the host and manager, taking care of everything in his own fun and playful way.
Announced on July 11, the show promises to deliver laughs, warm moments, and Yoo Jae Suk’s trademark energy. Viewers can expect to see unscripted interactions between Yoo Jae Suk and his guests, creating funny, touching, and sometimes chaotic scenes inside the camp-themed guesthouse. He’ll be fully dressed for the role in camp uniforms, and the teaser video even showed him dancing around with a whistle, setting the tone for the light-hearted series.
The show is being directed by PD Jung Hyo Min, who previously worked on hit shows like Hyori’s Homestay and Kian’s Bizarre B&B. This marks a reunion between Jung and Yoo Jae Suk, who earlier collaborated on Two Yoo Project: Sugar Man and Laborhood on Hire. Co-director Lee So Min also expressed her excitement, saying she’s happy to work on a guesthouse-themed variety program with someone like Yoo Jae Suk, who brings years of experience and a warm sense of humor to every show he leads.
To make things more interactive, Yoo Jae Suk is opening applications for guests to join the show. In a fun promo clip, he joked, “The guests are kings. And I’m also king!” He encouraged people to sign up and spend time at the camp with him. Applications officially open on July 12, 2025.
Netflix has not yet revealed when the show will premiere, but fans are already excited. With Yoo Jae Suk leading the project and a solid team of creators working behind the scenes, Yoo Jae Suk’s Camp is expected to be one of the standout variety shows in Korean entertainment.
