BTS is officially beginning its next chapter as several members make their way to the United States to work on new music. RM was the first to leave South Korea, flying out on July 6. He later shared that the rest of the group was originally supposed to travel with him but faced delays. On July 7, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook were seen at Incheon International Airport as they prepared to join RM in Los Angeles.

SUGA’s airport appearance drew significant attention. It marked his first time facing the press since completing his alternative military service and addressing a recent DUI-related incident involving an electric scooter. Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, loose brown pants, and a beanie, SUGA kept a low profile. He wore a face mask and walked quickly through the terminal without acknowledging the cameras or fans, accompanied by his manager and carrying his guitar.

Jungkook arrived separately and met Jimin and SUGA with a polite bow and a friendly handshake. He and Jimin shared a playful moment, reinforcing their strong bond as “buddy soldiers.” The two enlisted around the same time and have remained closely connected since. They recently held a joint livestream and reportedly finished filming the second season of their travel show Are You Sure?!, which may feature RM as a new cast member. The first season starred V alongside them during a trip to Jeju Island.

The group’s U.S. trip aligns with BTS’s upcoming plans for a full-group comeback. According to previous reports, the members will participate in a song camp in America and work on their first studio album in six years. The new album is scheduled for release in spring 2026, and all members are said to be personally involved in its creation, from songwriting to concept planning. This would be their first major group release since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020.

While Jin is currently on his solo tour across Asia and Europe, and V is finishing fashion-related commitments in Paris, the rest of the team is now in the U.S. As BTS reunites in Los Angeles, anticipation builds among fans for what’s expected to be one of the group’s most meaningful comeback projects.
