Freight Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: FRGT) saw its stock climb nearly 5% after announcing a two-year partnership with Mexican logistics company Salzillo (Fletes y Distribuciones Conver S.A.P.I. de C.V.).

As part of the deal, Freight Technologies will provide Salzillo with its Fleet Rocket Transportation Management System (TMS), a digital tool designed to simplify logistics, track shipments, and boost control over truck movements between Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.

The Fleet Rocket TMS is aimed at helping shippers, brokers, and logistics operators manage their freight more easily and efficiently, both within countries and across borders in North America. It’s marketed as cost-effective and scalable, making it suitable for growing logistics companies.

Freight Technologies’ CEO Javier Selgas said, “Fleet Rocket is the ideal platform for companies looking to strengthen their logistics capabilities across North America, and we’re proud to see it adopted by a company with Salzillo’s experience and national footprint.”

The agreement comes at a time when more trucking and logistics companies are embracing digital tools to keep up with demand and improve operations under the USMCA trade agreement region.

With this deal, Salzillo aims to use the platform to improve efficiency across its large fleet of trucks, while Freight Technologies strengthens its footprint in the cross-border logistics space.
