His half-sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, did not attend the wedding, even though Brody had personally given them the invitations, hoping they would be there to celebrate his special day. Their absence didn’t go unnoticed, and it has now raised questions about deeper family tensions.
According to sources close to the family, the main reason behind Kylie and Kendall missing the wedding wasn’t a scheduling issue; it was emotional and rooted in long-standing family dynamics. The relationship between their mothers, Kris Jenner and Linda Thompson, has reportedly never been smooth. Even though Kylie and Kendall have always tried to build a close connection with their brother Brody, just like they have with their Kardashian siblings, the tension between the two moms seems to have made things difficult over the years.
Some insiders have revealed that Brody was genuinely hurt. He had high hopes that his sisters would be there for him and felt their absence deeply. One source told Rob Shuter that for Brody, “It felt personal.” Kylie and Kendall, on the other hand, reportedly said they didn’t want to draw attention away from the bride and groom, which is why they stayed away, but many believe there might be more to the story.
Interestingly, Caitlyn Jenner, who is the biological parent of both Brody and the Jenner sisters, did show up to support her son. Though Caitlyn and Brody have had a rocky relationship in the past, her presence meant a great deal to him. Sources said Caitlyn even took the opportunity to apologise to Brody for past mistakes, which was a heartfelt moment that added depth to the emotional day.
